I've noticed, over the past few years, that I've developed the need to start writing stuff down.
I'm not sure whether this is due to advancing age, or whether I believe that what I have to say is profound in any sence. I have my doubts about both, but like millions (?) of others "out there", I figured this is just as good a time as any to start one of these things up.
I don't think I'll end up as prolific as some of my favourite bloggers, but, you know, "Rome in a day..." and all that.
If you've ended up here for some reason, then welcome.

A couple of opinions here:
1) You really shouldn't hold back on your views.
2) Today's Newark Star Ledger (NJ) reports today that the 17 terrorists arrested with intentions to bomb a number of prominent Canadian locations included 5 juveniles.
3) There is an apparent connection to two Muslims from Georgia (US), who were looking to disable the global positioning satellite system.
4) In a classic quote, Mike McDonell, asst. commissioner of the RCMP, said,"Everybody is concerned about what we don't know." regarding terrorist activities in Canada.
5) You made the right choice, in my opinion, regarding the accident. And obviously, I am glad that no one was hurt. But it is about covering one's butt these days.

And about writing things down, which was the original reason that I responded to this, I have been doing that for years. And you know that I have nothing profound to say, so it is simply about my advancing age!
If it doesn't make the "to do list" it doesn't get done. Doesn't get remembered...doesn't get Jack-Stuffed.
Obviously, my CRS was prevalent here in not responding to your comment about writing things down.
And I appreciate the welcome. Have always enjoyed my friends north of the border. Get a little of that good Canadian humor going on your site. Always good for the soul.
